A “Noyau” is a primitive type of social hierarchy where the members exercise territorial instincts which arouse them from “inward antagonisms”. Basically, they have turf wars which are subtle and directed only at members of their own kind.
Anger is an energy that feeds their will to conquer and survive.
Nations differ from Noyaus only by scale. Cats don't team up. They aren't loyal like dogs that are willing to die for their family and country.
Gangsters are like cats who don't try to take over the world because it's not worth it to them. But, to a nation that is their never ending goal.
Everything seeks to take over from the perspective of the political instinct of nations or from a dog’s perspective. There must be a leader in such a social hierarchy.
Cats are opportunists though. They have no need for social hierarchy since they can be self-reliant.
Rome conquered the world as a Noyau culture, so how was that possible?

Do you think lone wolf's are almost like the cats you speak of? I was just thinking of the Roman origin myth as they couldn't go around saying well we were soliders for the Estrucans and thought they were dicks as the Romans were quite vicious especially in packs like Brutus or even the phalanx and cats hunt differently usually even female lions although that is the most pack like group of cats I've been able to think of that operates like a pack of wolves hunt for a group but their social hierarchy is completely different than that of Tigers. The Egyptians liked cats.
