Hitler didn’t hate all Jews. In fact, he fell madly in love with one Jewish woman. Her name was Stepfanie Isak and she had no clue that he loved her from afar for at least four years. In his mind, she was the ideal version of his mother.
Young Hitler felt so inferior to Stefanie Isak that he hid his feelings and managed to get this friend, August Kubizek, to spy on her as a way to interact with her through his fantasies. Of course, he recognized how weird this was and despised his weaknesses which he later on projected onto others- a psychological process known as Ideal Ego Reaction Formation.
Jacques Lacan is the psychoanalyst who coined the term.
Lacan's "ideal ego" is the ideal of perfection that the ego strives to emulate; it first affected the subject when he saw himself in a mirror during the mirror stage, which occurs around 6-18 months of age (see the Lacan module on psychosexual development). Seeing that image of oneself established a discord between the idealizing image in the mirror (bounded, whole, complete) and the chaotic reality of the one's body between 6-18 months, thus setting up the logic of the imaginary's fantasy construction that would dominate the subject's psychic life ever after. For Lacan, the "ego-ideal," by contrast, is when the subject looks at himself as if from that ideal point; to look at oneself from that point of perfection is to see one's life as vain and useless. The effect, then, is to invert one's "normal" life, to see it as suddenly repulsive.
Two Styles of Ideal Ego Reaction Formation
IMAGINARY ORDER. The fundamental narcissism by which the human subject creates fantasy images of both himself and his ideal object of desire, according to Lacan. The imaginary order is closely tied to Lacan's theorization of the mirror stage. What must be remembered is that for Lacan this imaginary realm continues to exert its influence throughout the life of the adult and is not merely superceded in the child's movement into the symbolic order. Indeed, the imaginary and the symbolic are, according to Lacan, inextricably intertwined and work in tension with the Real. See the Lacan module on the structure of the psyche.
Hitler’s mother was his one and only true love. She was his savior and he was hers. He desperately wanted to make the world a better place for her to live and believed that it was his God given duty to rid the world of filth and vile people. His ultra sense of morality of doing what was best for the greater good made him superior, or so he thought. Hitler's moral was self concocted narcissistic supply that fed his Oedipus Complex into becoming a king of tyrants.
The Holocaust wasn’t just about race, but stemmed from unconscious desires to be superior. Hitler tapped into the collective unconscious of Germans through his own subconscious beliefs about being special and desire to be the chosen race by God.
The second style of Ideal Ego Reaction Formation is Symbolic.
SYMBOLIC ORDER (Lacan): The social world of linguistic communication, intersubjective relations, knowledge of ideological conventions, and the acceptance of the law (also called the "big Other"). Once a child enters into language and accepts the rules and dictates of society, it is able to deal with others. The acceptance of language's rules is aligned with the Oedipus complex, according to Lacan. The symbolic is made possible because of your acceptance of the Name-of-the-Father, those laws and restrictions that control both your desire and the rules of communication. Through recognition of the Name-of-the-Father, you are able to enter into a community of others. The symbolic, through language, is "the pact which links... subjects together in one action. The human action par excellence is originally founded on the existence of the world of the symbol, namely on laws and contracts" (Freud's Papers 230). The symbolic order works in tension with the imaginary order and the Real. It is closely bound up with the superego and the phallus.
Michael Fitzgerald, a professor of child and adolescent psychiatry, published a cornucopia of pathographies of outstanding historical personalities, mostly stating that they had Asperger syndrome, which is on the autism spectrum. In his 2004 published anthology Autism and creativity, he classified Hitler as an "autistic psychopath". Autistic psychopathy is a term that the Austrian physician Hans Asperger had coined in 1944 in order to label the clinical picture that was later named after him: Asperger syndrome, which has nothing to do with psychopathy in the sense of an antisocial personality disorder. Fitzgerald appraised many of Hitler's publicly known traits as autistic, particularly his various obsessions, his lifeless gaze, his social awkwardness, his lack of personal friendships, and his tendency toward monologue-like speeches, which, according to Fitzgerald, resulted from an inability to have real conversations.
After WWII ended, psychologists conducted a thorough investigation of his personal life. His sister who was seven years his junior described him as a very caring big brother who had been severely abused by his father and spoiled by his mother. At the age of 16, Hitler's mother worked as a maid to his father while he was still married to his second wife. They were first cousins once removed.

A DNA test has not yet been done on Hitler's remains. For now, all we have to go on about his ancestry and childhood comes from the Nuremberg interrogation interviews and his psychological profile conducted by the CIA.
I’ve taken screenshots of the most interesting pages from the beginning of the 270 page CIA document. He didn’t hate the race but wouldn’t tolerate any ideology other than loyalty to the Motherland. Whoopie Goldberg was right, the Holocaust wasn’t about race. It wasn’t about money either. It was about creating a superior race of humans. In order to do so he felt he needed to eradicate undesirable traits that led to corruption of character and degradation of society.
